My wife and I recently built a new home near Newberg and we hired Robert and Sarah, the owners of Artistic Landscapes to handle the yard. The scope of work was considerable from our perspective; it included multiple retaining walls, 22 irrigation zones, hundreds of trees, shrubs and small plantings, steep slopes, two paver stone patios, lighting, steps, pathways, lawns, and a water feature near the front door. The work was done over several months, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. We knew we were in good hands from the very beginning. Robert and Sarah’s vision for transforming our property was innovative and practical, giving us exactly what we had hoped for. Their work is exceptional. Every detail was artistic, thoughtfully designed, and executed with such skill that it feels like a mix of home and vacation when we arrive home. Moreover, their communication throughout the entire process was top-notch. Robert and his foreman were always prompt, clear, and incredibly helpful, ensuring I was kept in the loop and fully satisfied with each project stage. It's rare to find someone who combines such a keen eye for design with outstanding customer service and to top it off, it was evident that Robert’s field staff were completely invested in our project and the company they work for. Wow just wow!! Robert and his crews are amazing. Blew our expectations out of the park. They did 4 days back to back of fixing our old sprinkler system, adding a new timer so the water runs at the correct times, a major major clean up, new bark, new pea gravel, two new pathways, 6 new beautiful boulders, adding over 30 new gorgeous plants, leveling gravel so a gate would open, trimming back pesky vines, seeding and fertilizing our lawn, pressure washing and more!!! I met with 5 contractors before Robert. Only Robert and one other even got back to us with a quote. I knew after meeting Robert for the 1st time that we would go with him. The cost is worth it. He is experienced, kind and just has “it”. He has the vision. We have now signed up for weekly maintenance with him. See our before and after photos. You will definitely be able to tell which ones are after! 😂

Robert and the team at Artistic Landscapes were so amazing to work with. After my spouse and I fell ill over the summer, we had to let the yard go, and it took us a long time to recover so we never had enough energy to catch up. By the time we called Robert, we felt embarrassed of our yard and anxious to get it resolved. We have struggled in the past getting landscapers to follow through with giving us bids so we were nervous about starting that process again. Other crews that we hired wouldn't complete the job as described and made us feel like we were being difficult for asking questions or speaking up. This was NOT the case with Robert and his team. They were kind, communicative, affordable, flexible and the end product was gorgeous. They promised 100% and gave us 200%. We kept the crew on for monthly maintenance which will ensure that we have a gorgeous yard for years to come. Thanks to Robert, Salvador, Eduardo, Sarah and all of the folks who worked on our project in some way. We are eternally grateful, and feel like proud homeowners again.

Robert and the foremen and crew were fantastic to work with! We would highly recommend Artistic Landscapes for any landscaping project! Robert is extremely passionate about his work and helped us make some design decisions for our backyard. With his suggestions, our yard ended up looking better than we imagined! Robert communicated with us every step of the way, checked in on the project's progress, and made sure we were included in all the decisions. The crew is incredibly skilled and efficient! Our project was a bit tricky and required a lot of demolition and prep. The crew did the work entirely by hand and made significant progress each day. They were very diligent in cleaning up the work areas every day and were very detailed in all their work. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of their work! Thank you Artistic Landscapes for a beautiful new yard!

They demoed the deck and old patio and walkway, including a slab under the deck. Then created 2 new patios out of pavers and a new walkway. Removed an old water feature that didn't look good and put in a new beautiful water feature. Removed all the old plants and put in all new plants and boulders to provide a lot of color and texture all year long. They also removed the existing sprinkler system and installed a new drip system so we can walk through while it's running and not get soaked. They contracted out some stump grinding for old trees that were removed and some electrical work to have 2 additional lamp posts installed. Also installed a completely new beautiful fence all the way around. They did a fantastic job! It looks much better than we ever imagined. When we first started we wanted to cut costs so we were only going to have about half done. Then things transpired in a way that we needed to go ahead and get the entire project done. They continued on with the additional work and finished the project. They were punctual and very communicative throughout the entire project. His guys, Sergio and Andre, did the bulk of the work and they were a pleasure to work with. Sergio was always willing to stop what he was doing to answer my questions or take my suggestions on something I wanted a specific way. It was a bit on the expensive side but the whole thing overall was a fantastic experience and we are extremely happy with the final result.
